This nationwide charity focuses on helping children aged 6-18 to realize their potential and brighten their future. With over 100 years of service, BBBS is the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network. These mentorships build the children’s relationship building skills, deter them from risky behaviors, and aid in their educational success.
Support Our Troops Poker Run
This boat race, held annually at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, is a charity event dedicated to aiding the H.E.R.O.E.S. Care charity, which provides assistance to all branches of the army. With a nationwide presence and over 3,000 specially trained caregivers, this charity earned a 4 Star Status, the highest possible, from Charity Navigator.
Our Lady of the Pillar Annual Education Fund
Our Lady of the Pillar, located in St. Louis, MO, is a Catholic Parish and school dedicated to helping individuals meet their academic, spiritual, and moral goals. The early childhood, elementary, and middle school students benefit from this fund that helps them purchase classroom supplies, improve their learning environment, and grow through extracurricular activities.
East St. Louis School District 189
With FW Logistics’ headquarters located in East St. Louis, it is important for our team to donate to the children of this community. Not only does this district educate the bright young minds of their students, but they also have a Family & Community Engagement Center that provides programming, resources, and training to foster positive family engagement.
Make a Wish Missouri
During the Annual Shootout at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, our team was proud to support the Wish Upon a Ride program. During this event, Make a Wish Missouri gives children the chance to ride along on power boats along with their families and friends. Additionally, the event raises money from drivers and sponsors to be donated directly to Make a Wish Missouri.
World Pediatric Project
According to the World Pediatric Project, 9 out of 10 children in low-resource countries lack access to basic surgical care. This organization teams with both US-based and international partner hospitals to provide complex surgical care and provides on-site diagnostic and surgical teams in these low-resource areas. Additionally, they work with medical teams to improve healthcare for those who need it most.
